Golf Club, which opened in 1992, is an experience that cannot be found
anywhere else in Spain; it is the first true links course in the country.
Located to the west of San Roque, in an area rich with enthusiastic
golfers the course has recently undergone an extensive programme of
remodelling; fairways have been improved and widened. |

Alhaurin Golf
This course can be
found in Alhaurín El Grande, just behind the Mijas mountain range. It is
a new course, with a design of Severiano Ballesteros and is particularly
attractive because of its bright green fairways amidst the mountains and
the natural dark green vegetation. Its main charateristic is its hilly
design as it is largely adapted to the natural form of the surroundings. |
| Almenara
This is an 27 hole
golf course set in the upper part of Sotogrande 500 metres from Club de
Golf Valderrama and five minutes from the beach, surrounded by cork oak
trees and wild pines and several streams as well as a natural lake, all of
wich serve to make this a very beautiful course.

Alora Golf
The Aloha Golf
Course was designed by Javier Arana, one of Spain´s best known golf
architects. It was designed in October 1975 and is considered a the start
of the boom within the promotion and development of spanish golf courses.
Situated in Nueva Andalucia, the Mecca of the European Golf. Aloha is a
natural Golf Course, with a varied vegetation, where one hole is never
like another. Neither long nor short, perfectly kept. |
| Añoreta Golf
A course which
suits all players, demanding from the first tee but with easy-to-play
fairways, fast and rolling greens, some well protected by bunkers; water
obstacles on the course. All in all, a varied and pleasant round. |

Los Arqueros
Equidistant from Málaga
and Gibraltar Los Arqueros prides itself on being the Costa del Sol’s
first Seve Ballesteros design putting Benahavis on the map. Los Arqueros
is a challange for golfers with low and high handicaps. Its varied holes
and contrasting landscapes offer a magnificent view over the Andalusian
hills and the Mediterranean. |
| Atalaya Golf
Atalaya Golf &
Country Club has been one of the most popular clubs on the Costa del Sol
since its opening in 1968. Situated between Marbella and Estepona, it is
suitable for all levels of play from total beginners to international pro´s,
due to the diversity of its tees. Atalaya offers one of the largest
driving ranges in Spain and supplies tuition in several languages. |

| Real Club Las Brisas
The never-ending
activity of Robert Trent-Jones found its highlight with the opening, of
Las Brisas Golf Club. The north american designed a course in which long
drives alone will not be sufficient but intelligence in play is a must as
well. No less than ten artificial lakes and ample bunker protection around
mainly elevated greens. |

Cabopino Golf
With 18 holes, par
71, very moderm designer, over viewing the sea and the Costa del Sol.
Between Marbella, 12 km, and Fuengirola, 15 km. Very easy acces, the
course is only some hundred meters from the road CN 340. Open in March
2001. |
| La Cala
Two fine 18 hole
courses: La Cala North (Par73) and La Cala South (Par71) both designed by
American Architect Cabell B. Robinson are complemented superbly by an
elegant and comfortably-appointed colonial-style clubhouse and David
Leadbetter Golf Academy that includes six-hole par-three "executive"
course. |

La Cañada
La Cañada was the
first municiple course on the Costa del Sol. The course was designed by
Robert Trent Jones who also designed other courses in the area such as
Valderrama and Real Club de Golf Sotogrande. Situated high above Guadiaro,
a town that proportionally presents the highest number of amateurs in
Spain, it offers very well maintained greens, an important variety of
autochthonous trees and the glen on the 9th hole which gives name to the
golf course. |
| La Dama de Noche
For the golfing
addicts and insomniacs Enrique Canales designed Europe’s first 24 hour
golfing paradise. The course takes its name from the plant whose
nocturnal, intoxicating fragrance helpfully keeps the mosquitoes at bay.
The lighting system is arranged so as to cast no shadows thus giving
daylight quality and maximum visibility and the absence of rough ensures a
round of golf here doesn’t become a farce of hunt the ball. |

Flamingo Golf
The Flamingo Golf
Club is situated in one of the most beuatiful enclaves of Marbella. From
each of its holes players will enjoy breath-talking views of the
Mediterranean Sea and Africa. The Arroyo del Taraje stream passes throgh
Flamingos Golf Club forming a lake wich constitutes a natural border of
the course. Every detail has been taken of the 5.883m where cypress,
oranges, olives, pines, carobs and chestnuts are just the trees used to
give each hole its own identity. The course has a great choice of play
scenarios, ample greens, many of wich take the dificulty from their
undulation and their different plataforms. |
| Guadalhorce
Its friendly family
atmosphere is probably the main feature of this course. Located at 7 km
from Málaga International Airport and inaugurated in 1.990, it offers
many additional features such as pools, tennis courts, paddle tennis,
saunas and recreation´s areas. The design by Kosti Kuronen, clearly
splits the course in two. The first nine has an English "parkland"
type design, whereas the second has more elevated greens and hiller
fairways, making play a little more difficult. |

Guadalmina
Guadalmina south:This is the
oldest of the two eighteen hole Gualdalmina courses. It also offers a
short nine hole round. The south course was designed by Javier Arena in
1959 and is famous for its high difficulty level and is therefore most
suitable for experienced players. Wide fairways, without rough or water
hazards. Guadalmina north:This course was designed by Folco Nardo and
opened in 1.973. It is shorter and hillier than the south course and
presents several artificial lakes. It requires a precise drive through the
middle of the fairways so as not to end up in one of thes water hazard
hidden the rough. |

Canela
The course´s natural design
was adapted to the original shape of the terrain rather than adopt
artificial elements. The result is a versatile course with great tees. The
course challenges the players and "makes him think". It can be
quite an easy and comfortable course for average players, but also hard
for top-level competition |

Islantilla
Golf
Designed by Enrique Canales
and Luis Recasens the 27 hole course, in Huelva, opened in 1992 and
shortly afterwards hosted the 1993 PGA European Challenge Tour event won
by Sweden’s Magnus Person. The complex extends over 300 hectares and
will eventually include an Olympic training village, equestrian centre,
yacht harbour, casino and accomodation for 22000 people. |
| Lauro Golf
Lauro Golf is one of the new
golf course in Málaga area. Situated in the precious landscape of
municipality of Alhaurin de la Torre, at 300 mts above the sea level.
Lauro Golf offers spectacular views of the valley of Málaga and the
Mediterranean. Designed by Folco Nardi, Lauro Golf Has an 18 hole course
and brand new 9 hole course. |

Mijas Golf
Mijas Golf boasts two 18
holes courses. Los Lagos is a mainly flat course with wide fairwayis and
fast, small greens, suitable for the more demanding players. |
| Miraflores
One of the Costa del Sol’s
top leisure and resort developments. Miraflores is located in the hills of
the Mijas Costa which offer breathtaking views of the countryside down to
the sea. The centrally located clubhouse is perfectly positioned to take
advantage of the magnificent panoramic scenery. Designed by Folco Nardi
the course has a number of elevated greens which required some tough
walking so a buggy is often a good idea. |

Montecastillo
Right next to the Jerez
racing circuit, site of world championship formula 1 and motor races, the
course proudly waves the name of its designer Jack Nicklaus. This champion
player has demonstrated his supreme knowledge of the game in each of the
holes of this Jerez course, which was inaugurated with a European Tour
tournament hosting the Turespaña Master Open of Andalucia in 1994. It has
also hosted The Volvo Masters, 1997-2001 during five years. |

Naranjos
One of the most interesting
features of Los Naranjos is the significant difference between the front
nine and the back nine. It´s like playing two different courses. Los
Naranjos is a great course to fascinate all players. |

Mayor
Nestling in the mountains of
Benahavis Monte Mayor is one of Andalucia’s most spectacular Golf
Courses. Designed by Jose Gancedo, it is a challenging proposition but,
the quality of the Greens, the natural beauty of the situation and its

Situated at 14 km. from
Marbella in a valley surrounded by hills with magnificient views of the
coast. El Paraiso was carefully designed to achieve a peaceful atmosphere

Golf
Situated in "The Golf
Valley", commands the best panoramic views of the mountains and the

apparently easy, it is in fact very demanding due to th design of the

Rio Real Golf is situated in
a very nice valley with sea views crossed by the Rio Real Creek that lent
the course its name. Only 3 kms from Marbella, Javier Arana designed the
course on the 60´s and its opened to the public in 1965. |

Maria Golf
Designed by Antonio García
Garrido, who worked with Manuel Piñero on La Quinta, the course traces
the contours of two valleys in which the natural vegetation, streams and
four lakes form natural hazards. The greens are generally spacious and
most of the tees are elevated. Amongstthe most spectacular holes are the
7th where the green es surrounded by bunkers, and the 11th with a lake and
waterfall bordering the green. |

Sotogrande
The Club de Golf Sotogrande
was founded in 1964 and is located in a perfectly natural surrounding for
the practice of golf all through the year. Its designer, Robert Trent
Jones was particularly proud of his work on this course. Anyone who played
the course will be able to confirm it is a very special design, its beauty
enhaced by the varied vegetation. |

Clara Golf
A new design concept,
bigtees and greens not providing of a 75% of rough, included the last
grass (Bermuda 419 and Pemcross) located in the middle of the golf course
of Marbella (East of Marbella) with the last specifications USGA, it call
